Maria programmed and produced the Vodafone Comedy tent at Body&Soul from 2015 - 2018 and the comedy programme in the Bulmer’s Lounge in 2019. The programme spanned traditional stand-up, musical, sketch and improv comedy, podcasts and theatre. International and homegrown comedy acts who were programmed over the course of the five years included; Tommy Tiernan, Bec Hill, Tiff Stevenson, Joanne McNally, Andrew Maxwell, Panti, Jarlath Regan, Jason Byrne, Alison Spittle, Colm O’ Regan, Gearóid Farrelly, Eleanor Tiernan, David O’ Doherty, Catherine Bohart, Kevin McGahern, Dreamgun Film Reads, Lords of Strut and many, many more. 

 

Naoise founded and directs the Library of Progress stage at the annual Body&Soul arts and music festival. The programme aimed at a younger audience than the MindField one features performance poetry, literary readings, music, discussion and comedy as part of the overall Body&Soul creative programme. Contributors have included; Denise Chaila, FeliSpeaks, Mango x Mathman, Blindboy Boatclub, Alison Spittle and Waterford Whispers News.
