Bram Stoker Festival was brought to life by Dublin City Council and Fáilte Ireland in 2011 to encourage Dubliners and visitors to the city to delve deep into Dublin's Gothic history.

Schweppe Curtis Nunn successfully won the contract to deliver this highly anticipated festival from 2017 - 2020 and delivered growth across domestic and international audiences year on year. Maria, and regular Schweppe Curtis Nunn collaborator Tom Lawlor, were Co-Directors of the Festival. Naoise was Associate Director with responsibility for the literary elements of the programme.

A particular programming interest was bringing audiences to unusual site-specific venues, particularly at night, and programme highlights included; Stokerland (a Victorian pop-up theme park) in St. Patrick’s Park, which saw 20,000 visitors over two days, Macnas parade along the streets of north Dublin, theatre and film screenings with live musical accompaniment in St. Ann’s Church, outdoor film screenings and theatre in the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, theatre and literary events in The Chapel Royal in Dublin Castle, floating light installations on Grand Canal Dock, aerial performances in St. Anne’s Park and much more.
