MindField at Electric Picnic

Naoise founded and produces this festival-within-a-festival which encompasses up to eight separate tented stages hosting 180 hours of programming at the heart of Ireland’s biggest commercial music and arts festival.

 

The programme includes dance, theatre, literature, music, Irish language programming, podcasts, science, poetry, hip-hop, discussions and much more. The MindField arena attracts up to 30,000 visitors each year. He also ran a standalone MindField festival in Merrion Square in 2011. MindField contributors have included Bob Geldof, Florence Welch, Irvine Welsh, Kate Tempest, Blindboy Boatclub, John Banville, Jon Snow, Miriam O’Callaghan and President Michael D Higgins. Partnerships have included: Department of Foreign Affairs, Science Gallery, Research Council of Ireland, Creative Ireland, The Arts Council, European Commission and the 2016 Commemoration Programme.
